Registration is a $10.00 donation for a spot, with the option of upgrading and supporting the Kings County Museum by obtaining a membership for an additional $10.00.

During the event, participants will find a spot at one of the tables that are set up for us within the museum to write for a few hours, and then the group will gather at the end to share writing or to talk about the experience. We will also provide information about RWAC to non-members at that time.

This event’s aim is to promote Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada. They are a fun and interesting group that is open to increasing its membership. Also, after recent political events, their aim is to support our local arts and heritage community.

On an interesting note: the upstairs of the museum is the historic courtroom that appears in Laura Churchill Duke’s novel Two Crows Sorrow. This courtroom was the site of many famous legal dramas during the past century, including bank robberies, cattle-rustling, and murder. Definite inspiration for a novel.
