Ahoy, history lovers! The Kings County Museum is thrilled to welcome Maritime historian Dan Conlin for a special evening talk celebrating the release of the new edition of his acclaimed book, Pirates of the Atlantic: Robbery, Murder, and Mayhem off the Canadian East Coast.
Join us on Thursday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the Kings County Museum for a lively and informative presentation exploring the true tales of Atlantic pirates— stories filled with danger, adventure, and the darker side of our coastal past.
Originally published in 2009, Pirates of the Atlantic has become a beloved classic amongst Nova Scotian history buffs and seafaring enthusiasts. The newly revised edition dives even deeper into the region’s most notorious figures and high-seas legends, offering fresh research and vivid storytelling that brings Canada’s maritime past to life.
